My creative practice is informed by my time as a musician, arts technician and computer programmer. My work focuses on the function of audience agency and interaction in popular culture/entertainment and examines the politics of participatory art and how it can be used to examine questions about democracy and the creative process.

I recently consolidated my practice through undertaking an AHRC funded Masters in Theatre and Performance at Lancaster University, during which time I created The Imitarium, an innovative, interactive audio-visual performance platform that melds theatre technologies from the Victorian era to present day. I have been collaborating with Creative Exchange to develop new content for The Imitarium, which will present information about four of the knowledge exchange hubs at the AHRC Creative Economy showcase in London, in March 2014.
